Senior Environmental Manager

Job description

The Senior Environmental Manager leads environmental aspects for mixed-use development projects at the employer Integrates environmental policies and sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and promotes environmental stewardship. Guides multidisciplinary teams and engages stakeholders for responsible project execution. Prepares detailed environmental reports for regulatory submissions and internal use. Oversees monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities across project phases. Provides expert advice on environmental policies, procedures, and sustainable development initiatives. Conducts training sessions to raise environmental awareness among project personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
• Master’s degree preferred
• minimum of 10 years experience in environmental management with focus on mixed-use or large-scale development projects
• strong knowledge of local and international environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability frameworks
• experience conducting environmental impact assessments and environmental risk management
• excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively
• familiarity with environmental certifications and standards such as LEED and BREEAM is an advantage
