Road Network Engineer - City Ops O&M

Job description

Responsible for planning, designing, operating, and assessing maintenance of road networks in urban developments and large infrastructure projects. Focuses on enhancing connectivity, traffic flow, road safety, and transportation efficiency through engineering analysis, design reviews, and performance monitoring. Develops road network strategies and evaluates layouts, alignments, and access points. Ensures compliance with local and international engineering standards. Conducts traffic studies, capacity analyses, and identifies bottlenecks. Performs road safety audits and recommends improvements. Monitors infrastructure performance and prepares performance reports. Supports Intelligent Transportation Systems and integrates road infrastructure with public transport, cycling, and pedestrian networks. Coordinates with government authorities, consultants, and contractors. Prepares technical reports and presents findings to stakeholders.

• Proficient in road network planning and design

• knowledge of local and international engineering standards

• proficient with simulation and modeling tools
• experience conducting road safety audits
• knowledge of municipal and regulatory requirements
• experience monitoring infrastructure performance
• proficient in preparing technical reports
• proficient in coordinating with government authorities and consultants
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or Highway Engineering
• Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering advantage
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration advantage
• 4-8 years experience in road design, transportation planning, or traffic engineering
• experience in urban developments or smart city projects
• experience working with government authorities or municipalities advantage
