Construction Manager

Job description

The Construction Manager at the employer leads planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects. Oversees multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Leads all project phases from initiation to completion; develops strategies, schedules, and budgets aligned with client requirements and organizational goals; coordinates design, engineering, procurement, and construction teams for seamless delivery; ensures compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards; monitors performance, mitigates risks, and resolves issues; engages clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction; promotes team development and mentors junior professionals; contributes to business development through proposal preparation and bidding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• advanced degree preferred
• minimum 20 years of experience in construction management, including leadership roles on large‑scale projects
• proven ability to manage multimillion or billion‑dollar construction programs
• strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• experience with contract negotiation, risk management, and quality assurance
• ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, multicultural environments
• commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
• proficient with construction management software and project tracking tools
• excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• ability to foster collaborative work environments and mentor team members.
