Job description
An overview of the profession: The design engineer prepares engineering plans and models for systems and products, matches them with standards and specifications, and follows up on their approval and implementation. Typical tasks for this profession: • Preparing engineering drawings and models for systems or products. • Ensure that designs comply with standards and specifications. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for design integration. • Follow up on approval processes and design implementation after approval. • Maintain design documentation and update it when needed
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil) by specialty
- Skill: Proficiency in using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Skill: Knowledge of relevant technical standards (e.g. ISO, IEC, SASO)
