Purchasing Supervisor

Job description

Supervises local and international procurement to ensure cost efficiency and material compliance with quality standards. Leads the purchasing team and manages the purchase cycle from order to inventory receipt. Reviews purchase orders, price quotations, and supplier invoices before financial approval. Evaluates and qualifies suppliers, negotiates commercial terms and volume discounts. Handles discrepancies with suppliers and analyzes spending patterns to propose cost‑reduction initiatives. Monitors department budget, aligns procurement with internal accounting, and coordinates with finance and warehouse teams for inventory audits. Ensures compliance with Saudi regulations such as the SABER platform and customs rules, and oversees logistics coordination

Requirements

• Proficient in accounting
• experience in procurement and supply chain
• proficient in team leadership
• knowledge of ERP systems, Odoo, Excel
