Production Operator

Job description

The operator validates the availability of all required documents before job start-up to minimize downtime. Operates the machine according to Work Instructions and IFM to ensure safe and smooth run. Troubleshoots problems and requests support to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. Ensures start‑up quality with QC inspector to meet specifications. Conducts quality inspection using the self‑inspection sheet and signs it. Reports any quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for necessary action. Requests maintenance support for corrective tasks from the Team Leader. Assigns tasks to helpers to ensure organized operation and maintains 5S conditions of machines and workplace. Informs helpers of bag and pallet types and sets the filling scale for appropriate bag weight. Fills daily production reports in DPR and ERP and relays them to the Team Leader to track activities. Completes machine parameters form for approval and system logging to enhance productivity. Checks product and pallet labels for correct details and packing mode.
