Job description

The Director of Finance serves as the strategic financial business leader and key advisor to the General Manager and ownership group. Oversees all finance and accounting functions to ensure strong financial performance, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experiences. Shapes business strategy, identifies growth opportunities, drives profitability, and ensures sound governance. Leads budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business analysis. Manages working capital, cash flow, and financial resources while optimizing costs without compromising luxury service standards. Develops a high‑performing finance team through coaching, succession planning, and professional development. Builds trusted relationships with ownership representatives, corporate stakeholders, and operational leaders to support informed decision‑making and long‑term growth

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance leadership within luxury hospitality, hotels, resorts, or complex service‑driven environments
• proficient at translating financial data into meaningful business insights and operational actions
• proficient in budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, asset management, and profitability enhancement
• ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, ownership groups, and cross‑functional teams
• proficient leadership style encouraging accountability, development, transparency, and high performance
• genuine appreciation for luxury hospitality and understanding of how financial strategy supports memorable guest experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (advanced qualifications favored).
