Director of Private Label and Direct Import Department - ​​Consumer Health and Pharmacy

Job description

Responsible for the development of private label (PL) products and their direct import according to the company's strategy. Ensures implementation of launch plans and achievement of performance indicators. Coordinates activities within the team and with other departments. Leads supplier selection and contract negotiation according to company standards. Manages and develops team members and works with various company functions. Achieves launch plans, sales, and profitability goals. Develops private label projects through cooperation with internal and external parties. Monitors performance via reports and meetings. Searches for new suppliers through international exhibitions and facility audits. Manages supplier relationships, evaluations, negotiation, and compliance with legal and quality standards. Ensures compliance throughout the product life cycle in collaboration with supply chain, marketing, and commercial functions. Develops an annual product development plan based on market trends and gap analysis. Collaborates with the Director of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and the Private Label Quality Manager to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Negotiates and signs supplier contracts and maintains contract database. Manages the product development process from planning to implementation, adhering to the agreed upon service level. Conducts cost-benefit analyzes and product life cycle evaluations to ensure that targeted financial indicators are achieved. Prepares requests for quotations and leads tendering processes in accordance with established procedures

Requirements

• Experience managing or developing the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) category
• Experience managing or developing a nutritional supplement category (Nutraceuticals)
• Experience managing or developing a Home Healthcare category
• Experience in managing or developing pharmaceutical classes (Medicines)
