Mechanic Technician I

Job description

The role involves understanding and interpreting mechanical schematics, drawings, and prints. Under general supervision, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of various mechanical equipment at the assigned location. Conducts functional testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance. Ensures accurate maintenance and data entry into the employer's system. Follows detailed work processes within the the employer Management System (HMS) during daily activities. Performs own tasks and assists others as directed. Ensures duties are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively, indirectly impacting cost control, efficiency, and profitability

Requirements

• Proficient in understanding/interpreting mechanical schematics/drawings/prints
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience in a mechanical field
• Technical school certificate preferred
