Job description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at the employer (JHAH) in Dhahran provides complex, evidence‑based nursing care. Duties include delivering high‑quality nursing services for complex cases, managing workflow and mentoring junior nurses, adhering to clinical protocols and evaluating patient outcomes, using the nursing process from admission to discharge, educating patients and families, responding promptly to emergencies, maintaining a safe, clean environment, representing the unit on committees, setting up the OR according to AORN guidelines, assisting surgeons during complex procedures, completing pre‑, intra‑, and postoperative documentation, handling specialized equipment, monitoring patients in the PACU per ASPAN and JHAH standards, and administering medications per clinician orders

Requirements

• International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• current professional RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as applicable
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as applicable
• minimum 5 years nursing experience including 4 years in Operating Room
• fully proficient in English
• Arabic preferred
• proficiency in patient‑centered care
• ability to collect data and audit reporting
