Position Overview As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) for Saudi Arabia, you will represent Blaize's advanced AI technologies and serve as the technical face of the company to clients in Saudi Arabia, in industries including, but not limited to, smart cities, mobility, retail, and manufacturing. You will support customers in the design, evaluation, and deployment of Blaize AI ware hardware and software solutions, starting with inference boards l Peripherals such as Blaize M.2 and X1600P PCIe cards and even server-class deployments based on major OEM flagship products with multi-chip GSP + GPU platforms. You will also influence your local go-to-market strategy and support business growth in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: • Serves as the primary technical interface for Belize customers and partners across Saudi Arabia. • Support pre-sales architecture and after-sales solution integration, including edge AI inference and server-scale AI pipelines. • Lead customer workshops, proof-of-concept projects and validate solutions across hardware and software. • Provide technical expertise on AI Studio, SDK, and AI model optimization/deployment workflow. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align customer needs with the roadmap • Act as a local field scout, gathering insights into competitive trends, deployment patterns, and customer pain points • Coordinate with channel partners, distributors, and internal teams to scale support and success. Typical Activities: • Pre-Sales Technologist - Work with Marketing and Business Development on introducing new products and evangelizing new technology • After-Sales Technologist - Work with Sales (direct and channel) to expand opportunities with existing customers, identify new customers, and defend design wins against competitive pressures • Techno-Gy Scout - Gather technical feedback on our products and communicate with the Product Planning group to incorporate into future product offerings. Scout Competition - Gm Provide competitive product information through informal communications with peers and customers, and present this to the Blaize management team. What you should bring: • 8-10 years in embedded systems, computer vision, or AI platforms (edge or server) • Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, OpenVINO) • Experience with peripherals (Jetson, UP boards, ARM SoCs) and/or server inference • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Bash with exposure to embedded Linux • Familiarity with M.2/PCIe integration, GPU/NPU accelerators, heterogeneous computing • Cloud/edge pipeline design is a plus (e.g., containerized inference, live streaming) • AI, machine learning, deep learning, intelligent vision, GPU development, and/or software development is a plus • Language and communication • Native Arabic or business proficiency • Professional proficiency in English • Strong written/verbal skills and ability to deliver technical demonstrations to various stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field • Experience with intelligent vision, autonomous systems, or robotics • Knowledge of the industrial/automotive/IoT ecosystem in Saudi Arabia • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOp tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Blaize is an equal opportunity employer.
