Job Summary: The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning and designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for judicial facilities. Responsibilities: design MEP systems for buildings, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards; prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software with accuracy; coordinate designs with architects and structural engineers for integration; select equipment and materials considering efficiency, cost, and sustainability; incorporate energy‑efficient lighting, HVAC controls, and renewable energy technologies; provide technical support during construction, review shop drawings, conduct site inspections, and resolve issues; manage testing, balancing, and commissioning to ensure performance before occupancy; ensure compliance with building codes, fire and electrical safety regulations; maintain complete documentation of designs, calculations, specifications, and correspondence; communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand needs and provide expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• professional degree in MMUP, Engineer Registration (UPDA) or AutoCAD
• knowledge of MEP materials and site activities
• coordination and administration of MEP material submittals and shop drawings
• knowledge of local authority regulations and market standards
• assistance in testing and commissioning MEP equipment
• proficient in MS Office 2010 (Word, Excel)
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills
• minimum 5 years total work experience, including 3 years relevant experience and 2 years GCC experience as a plus
• leadership, resilience, quality skills
• knowledge of heat transfer, HVAC design, piping/plumbing, metals and alloys, pneumatics.
