Structural Engineering Discipline Leadership** * Lead the Structural Engineering team across assigned projects. * Allocate structural engineering activities to engineers, senior engineers and structural designers based on project priorities, workload and efficiency. * Provide technical guidance, direction and support to members of the structural engineering team. * Rev. Present workload and resource requirements and report on requirements to management. * Monitor structural design productivity, deliverable progress and project milestones. * Ensure consistent structural design standards, engineering principles and technical practices are implemented across projects. * Support recruitment, technical interviews and evaluation of engineering candidates Construction when needed. * Support professional development and efficiency improvement within the Structural Engineering team. * Establish and maintain high standards for structural engineering quality, safety and documentation. * Lead technical discussions and solve complex structural engineering problems. * Provide engineering guidance on structural systems, materials, analysis methodologies and constructability. **2\. Structural Design Management ** Lead and supervise the development of structural engineering designs for buildings, infrastructure and associated developments, including as appropriate: * Concept and feasibility studies. * Choosing and optimizing the structural system. * Structural design standards and design foundations. * Initial structural design. * Schematic structural design. * Design development. * Detailed structural design. * Structural analysis and modeling. * Foundation design. * Superstructure design. * Concrete and reinforced concrete structures. * Structural steel structures. * Composite structures where applicable. * Post-tensioned structures where applicable. *Masonry and other structural systems where applicable. * Retaining walls and earthen structures. * Basement structures. *Underground structures. * Roof structures. * Awnings and outdoor structures. * Temporary and permanent work interfaces where applicable. * Strengthening and structural modification works where applicable. * Seismic and wind design. * Durability and sturdiness considerations. * Structural fire resistance requirements. * Structural considerations in the construction phase. * Design for buildability, maintainability and durability. * Value engineering and structural optimization. **3\. Structural analysis and development WARE DESIGN ** Ensure appropriate development, analysis, examination and technical review of: * Structural analysis models. * Structural calculations. * Design calculations and design reports. * Load ratings. * Download groups. * Gravity load analysis. * Lateral load analysis. * Wind analysis and design. * Seismic analysis and design. * Stability analysis. * Foundation analysis and design. * Soil-structure interaction where applicable. * Reinforced concrete d
