Join our team About this opportunity: At the employer, the Automation Process Engineer is a core part of our Managed Services delivery, working in alignment with the the employer Process Engine. This role is responsible for coordinating, supporting and implementing proactive and reactive tier 1 operational activities to ensure customer services remain continuously available and implemented within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role provides 24/7 monitoring and monitoring across all services and infrastructure components within scope, with a strong focus on service availability, network performance, operational stability and automated processes. Human intervention is primarily required to manage exceptions, escalations, and critical operational events. This opportunity is exclusively open to Saudi nationals in line with our Saudization initiatives. What you will do: • Conduct 24/7 monitoring of services, networks, alarms, events and performance indicators to ensure operations remain within agreed SLAs. • Conduct first-level investigation and analysis to identify root causes of operational issues and proactively anticipate potential disruptions impacting service. • Oversee automated recovery processes and validate service recovery activities. • Manage the full incident ticket lifecycle, including definition, creation, updates, routing, tracking, escalation, and closure. • Perform first-level fault management, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance support, and escalate critical or unresolved issues to higher support levels. • Alt Coordinate with field operations teams for on-site maintenance and fault resolution in line with SLA commitments and KPIs. • Support preventive maintenance, planned work execution, and change control activities within the approved operational scope. • Support monitoring customer experience, evaluate complaint trends, and contribute to operational improvement initiatives. • Preparing operational reports, incident reports and performance summaries. • Perform remote access control, manage logical access, and support provisioning of access during critical incidents and changes. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure service continuity and operational compliance. It will bring you: • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent. • Experience in the telecommunications industry. • Telecom or IP related certifications are an advantage. • Good knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, LTE and telecom services network architecture. • Understanding of service performance indicators, KPI frameworks, degradation analysis, and troubleshooting methodologies. • Knowledge of telecommunications switching principles, transportation networks, traffic concepts, and value-added services. • Basic understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, automation and cloud technologies. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent teamwork, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a transformation-based operational environment. • Proactive, detail-oriented and results-oriented mindset. • Commitment to ethics, compliance and organizational values. • Fluency in English.
