Senior BIM Engineer

Job description

The Senior BIM Engineer supports development, coordination, quality assurance, and delivery of architectural Building Information Models for large‑scale and mega projects throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborates with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and BIM service providers to improve multidisciplinary coordination, identify design conflicts, strengthen documentation, and support construction efficiency, cost control, scheduling, and effective project delivery. Produces coordinated BIM models and drawings, maintains model and revision control, performs clash detection, derives quantities, supports project‑specific BIM guidelines and close‑out documentation, and assists project personnel in effective use of BIM tools and workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or any related engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical)
• related technical certification
• proficient in Autodesk Revit for architectural modeling and documentation
• experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination
• knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, modeling standards, and LOD/LOI concepts
• proficient in model quality reviews and revision tracking
• ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and identify coordination and constructability issues
• excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
• ability to organize priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and work independently
