Data Engineer

Job description

On-site work arrangement. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Responsible for supporting operations, maintenance, and optimization of Talend ETL/ELT pipelines during a 4‑month project. Ensures reliable data integration, troubleshoots pipeline issues, maintains data quality, and supports deployment and operational activities to ensure stability and performance of enterprise data integration platforms. Monitor, maintain, and support Talend pipelines to ensure reliable and timely integration; track job executions and resolve ETL failures, operational incidents, and performance issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve platform reliability; resolve data quality, reconciliation, and integration issues while adhering to service level agreements; develop and implement minor enhancements, workflow improvements, and performance optimizations for existing ETL processes; support deployment activities and production releases for Talend jobs and workflows; manage operational incidents via ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution; ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards; maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks; collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient data integration operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Talend ETL/ELT tools and data integration solutions
• strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• excellent documentation and reporting capabilities
• ability to manage multiple operational activities in a production support environment
• fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
