Quantity Surveyor

Job description

The candidate will manage and monitor the costs of scaffolding projects. This role is responsible for preparing and verifying quantities of materials and labor, establishing cost estimates and budgets, and controlling costs and identifying discrepancies. This includes reviewing subcontractor bids and contracts, participating in procurement and contract negotiations, collaborating with project teams to ensure economic and engineering effectiveness, maintaining accurate records, and preparing periodic reports

• Proficient in scaffolding materials
• proficient in labor
• proficient in equipment costs
• strong negotiation and communication skills with subcontractors and suppliers
• strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, methods, and industrial standards
• proficient in Excel
• experience in quantity surveying
• proficient in quantity surveying and cost estimation software
• excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• ability to work in a team and under pressure
