Job description

the employer announces its need for a Chief Executive Officer to work in the Riyadh area. Our ambition is to build a Saudi-anchored platform connecting global pharmaceutical innovation with regional investment, clinical development, strategic licensing, commercialization, and local manufacturing. We aim to create long-term economic value by bringing high-potential therapeutic assets, international expertise, investment capital, and biotechnology capabilities into the Kingdom, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. As a Founding Partner, you will work alongside our international founding leadership to establish the employer’s Saudi presence, develop its institutional relationships, secure strategic capital, and execute its regional growth strategy

Requirements

• Develop relationships with Saudi family offices, private investors, venture capital firms, strategic investors, and institutional capital providers
• lead fundraising initiatives, strategic investment discussions, and capital formation activities
• identify appropriate government-backed financing, innovation incentives, and co-investment opportunities
• establish relationships with relevant government agencies, investment authorities, research institutions, and economic development stakeholders
• support company formation, local regulatory coordination, and access to relevant investment and innovation programs
• position the employer as a credible partner in Saudi Arabia’s biotechnology and pharmaceutical development ecosystem
• build partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare institutions, investment groups, and manufacturing organizations
• facilitate international asset licensing, regional commercialization, co-development, and technology-transfer opportunities
• translate strategic relationships into signed commercial agreements and executable projects
• lead the employer’s operational establishment and local execution
• recruit and develop a high-performing Saudi team
• build the partnerships and infrastructure necessary to establish a sustainable regional biotechnology business
• 5+ years of experience
