About the Role: the employer is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on optimizing production schedules and resource utilization to enhance operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Develop production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts. Ensure production capacity aligns with customer requirements. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines. Verify raw material availability before releasing work orders. Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability. Monitor inventory levels to avoid material shortages and excess stock. Optimize production schedules and resource utilization to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field. 5-10 years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning, and manufacturing operations. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, demand forecasting, and capacity planning. Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
