Job description

HYCO Operator at the employer in the Eastern Region is responsible for executing field operations and Distributed Control System (DCS) for the global HYCO Steam Methane Reformer at BHIG, Saudi Arabia, ensuring a safe work environment by applying all safety procedures and related documentation. The operator runs HYCO Steam Methane Reformer units, CO2 recovery units, and supporting equipment according to work instructions, manages the pipeline network supplying hydrogen, steam, and CO2 safely and efficiently, provides operational support during plant operation, controls documentation and quality assurance initiatives, reports production progress and plant status to the supervisor, proposes operational solutions, implements basic safety practices, maintains 4S culture, oversees environmental and regulatory compliance, contributes to plant activities per BHIG standards and global best practices, follows equipment work instruction manuals and operating & maintenance procedures, ensures safe and effective shift handover, supports engineering and maintenance teams, participates in preventive maintenance and fault correction, contributes to investigations and root cause analysis, drives operational excellence and customer satisfaction, maintains communication with customers and shift management for continuous safe and reliable operation, and performs additional tasks assigned by managers efficiently. Requirements

• Technical diploma (two-year certificate) or equivalent based on experience and competence
• Experience in operating industrial plants
• Proven knowledge of HYCO
