Electrical / Utilities Inspector

Job description

We are looking for a talented Electrical / Utilities Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will support the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment across office and field locations. You will perform routine electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair activities under the supervision of senior technicians and professional staff. You will assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, panels, generators, motors, pumps, lighting systems, and related components.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of related professional experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, control panels, wiring systems, motors, generators, pumps, and power distribution equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and electrical work practices
• Ability to maintain accurate records, logs, reports, and technical documentation
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of senior technicians, engineers, and professional staff
• Ability to work in office, industrial, construction, and field environments
• Ability to perform routine physical and occasionally heavy labor activities
• Experience with electrical systems, power distribution equipment, control panels, generators, motors, pumps, lighting systems, and instrumentation
• Familiarity with low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems
• Familiarity with electrical control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Relevant electrical or safety certifications are preferred
