QA/QC Lead Engineer - Oil and Gas

Job description

The purpose of the role is to own the quality system for shutdown, turnaround, and project work at Saudi Aramco and affiliate facilities. The Lead QA/QC Engineer sets up and gets approved the quality documentation before mobilization, leads the QC team and welder resources on site, and is the single quality contact for Aramco inspection, the Third Party Inspector, and project management through to the final QC dossier. Key responsibilities include: pre-mobilization and documentation, execution on site, and close-out and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 to 10 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, with several shutdown or major projects as QC lead
• worked under Aramco inspection (SATIP / the employer) and led pre-start approval of quality documents
• certification: at least two or three of API 510, API 570, CSWIP 3.1 (or AWS CWI), valid and verifiable
• proven repair procedure writing for static equipment and piping.
