ED III Civil/Structural Designer

Job description

Join the employer's team at the Al‑Khabar office. Prepare engineering drawings from sketches or design data following standards. Create detailed designs for commercial, industrial, civil structures and manufactured products. Perform varied and complex technical assignments using CAD/CADD software. Develop working drawings based on equipment specifications and industry codes. Produce bills of material, quantity estimates and time, material and labor forecasts. Conduct site visits and compile reports. Coordinate small projects and specify complex equipment. Ensure design quality, drawing accuracy and review peer work.

Requirements

• Educational degree in Civil/Structural engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in Civil/Structural design
• Full understanding of materials and methods used in the discipline
• Knowledge of related engineering principles and practices
• Experience interpreting engineering standards, material specifications, P&IDs and line lists
• Proficient in mathematics and translating concepts into project plans
• Competent user of CAD/D software
• Strong problem‑solving, logical and methodical skills
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Enjoys applying complex theoretical principles practically
• Self‑motivated and enhances team performance
• Willingness to take on new tasks and learn new technical subjects
• Continuously develops knowledge and abilities
