Career Overview: Business analysts research and understand the strategic positioning of business organizations and companies in relation to their markets and stakeholders. They analyze and present their views on how the company can improve, from many perspectives, its strategic position and internal company structure. They evaluate needs for change, communication methods, technology, IT tools, and new standards and certifications. Typical tasks for this profession: • Identify and analyze business requirements and internal processes • Document current processes and suggest technical and administrative improvements • Act as a liaison between management and technical and operational teams • Prepare performance and feasibility evaluation models and reports
