Electrical Engineer (High-Rise Towers & 5-Star Hotels)

Job description

Key responsibilities: Lead electrical works execution as the Main Contractor or Developer Site Engineer. Supervise installation of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low current and BMS systems. Coordinate with civil, mechanical and architectural teams. Implement approved shop drawings and ensure alignment with BIM models. Conduct site inspections for containment, first fix, second fix, testing and final handover. Manage subcontractors, labor and material compliance. Prepare quantity take‑offs, interim payment certifications and variation assessments. Coordinate with technical teams, design consultants, SEC and authorities. Support testing & commissioning and maintain quality and inspection records.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience in high‑rise towers and 5‑star hotel projects
• experience as a Main Contractor or Developer Site Engineer
• strong knowledge of electrical installation and site execution
• knowledge of power distribution systems
• knowledge of lighting systems
• knowledge of fire alarm systems
• knowledge of low current systems
• knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS)
• hands‑on experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• strong coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• transferable Iqama is mandatory
• preference for candidates with prior experience in the Makkah Region
