BIM COORDINATOR (STEEL STRUCTURE)

Job description

The role involves developing and maintaining detailed structural BIM models using Tekla, Revit, and Navisworks. It also includes coordinating structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines and resolving design and coordination issues. Additionally, it entails identifying, managing, and resolving clashes to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models. The role supports the preparation of structural construction/shop drawings and BIM deliverables. It ensures BIM models and deliverables comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and the BIM Execution Plan. Furthermore, it coordinates with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Structural BIM Coordinator
• proven experience in steel structure projects is required
• strong proficiency in Tekla and Navisworks, with good working knowledge of Revit and ACC
• good understanding of structural BIM coordination, clash detection, LOD requirements, and BIM workflows
• experience working in multidisciplinary project environments
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
