Cost Planning Director

Job description

Leads cost planning across a portfolio of large-scale residential developments including villas, townhouses, and community assets. Defines strategy and ensures design solutions align with approved budgets and value objectives. Provides early commercial advice to support feasibility studies, master planning, and design development. Drives design‑to‑budget discussions and challenges cost inefficiencies. Develops and maintains cost benchmarks, market intelligence, and databases. Reviews and oversees external cost consultants to ensure robust cost plans. Prepares clear cost reports, executive summaries, and stage‑gate recommendations. Partners with development, design, procurement, finance, and delivery teams to guide decision‑making. Translates technical cost information into concise guidance for non‑technical stakeholders. Promotes consistency in cost planning methodologies, assumptions, and reporting standards
