Project Engineer

Job description

the employer, Inc. announces its need for a Project Engineer to work in the Riyadh area. The role includes project management, sales, problem-solving, policies and procedures, and compliance. It also requires strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technical projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role also includes developing project plans, managing resources, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Project Engineer will also be a point of escalation for technical issues raised by the team while working on projects and will work through the escalation process to seek resolution to problems outside the responsibility of Project Engineers and other technical staff. The Project Engineer will work with Project Managers to ensure the efficient deployment of mining systems on time and within budget. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the deployment of systems and products is carried out as efficiently as possible. This includes actively working on the deployment of complex mining solutions, supporting and maintaining software, delivering bespoke customizations, troubleshooting system issues, owning and implementing customer system configurations, implementing system customizations using scripting tools, participating in on-site system installation efforts, undertaking complex problem-solving involving multiple integrated systems, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are aware of risks and issues with the product and technical solutions being deployed to customer sites, escalating critical issues requiring other stakeholders' input to resolve issues, and providing regular reports on current project issues, including updates on status and resolution methods
