Landscape and Infrastructure Inspector

Job description

the employer seeks a Landscape and Infrastructure Inspector with over 12 years of experience for a Roads and Highway project in Riyadh, KSA. The role involves on‑site supervision of all soft and hard landscaping works to the highest standards. Responsibilities include overseeing contractor performance for compliance with approved plans, drawings, specifications, and health, safety and environmental plans; maintaining a detailed daily diary of activities, approvals, labour and equipment; processing contractor inspection requests and keeping status records; daily coordination with the site engineer/foreman and inspecting work execution; reporting questionable methods or non‑conformities to the Resident Engineer; notifying the reporting manager of impractical specification enforcement; coordinating with surveyors to verify line and grade; interfacing with stakeholders and nearby residents and businesses to mitigate construction impacts

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture Science or Engineering
• minimum 12 years of work experience with at least 5 years in the Middle East
• knowledge of post‑contract supervision roles and construction site inspection procedures
• technical skills for simple CAD drafting, spreadsheets/charts, online reporting and document processing, engineering support, KPI analysis and computation
• people‑management skills with good written and verbal communication
• ability to build excellent working relations with stakeholders through communication and multidisciplinary coordination
• knowledge of Middle East tree, plant and shrub species, planting, horticultural maintenance, irrigation systems, and soft‑scape/hard‑scape features.
