Rig Engineer

Job description

Assist in complex drilling platform movements, prepare and execute lifting plans, and provide on-site supervision for the crane operator team to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant heavy lifting operations. Responsibilities include leading the crane operator team, ensuring clear communication, determining load weights, conducting detailed inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Level 1 device in an industrial environment
• Valid Rigger Level 1 certification
• Ability to read/write English instructions
• Minimum high school diploma or higher
• Proficient in identifying necessary tools/equipment, applying logic/reasoning to solve manipulation challenges, and interpreting load charts
• Compliance with the employer standards
