Storekeeper

Job description

Responsible for receiving and staging merchandise by department, marking for placement, and delivering to the appropriate area. Stacks received items on pallets or carts. Completes requisition forms for inventory and supplies. Notifies manager of low stock levels promptly. Receives deliveries, stores perishables properly, and rotates stock. Inspects deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality, refusing damaged or incorrect items. Adheres to food safety and handling policies. Organizes, cleans, and sanitizes refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Removes empty pallets, cardboard, and trash to proper storage areas. Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager and completes safety training and certifications. Follows company policies, maintains a clean professional appearance, and protects confidential information. Communicates with guests and co‑workers using clear, professional language. Builds positive working relationships and supports team goals. Complies with quality assurance standards. Reads and visually verifies information in various formats. Stands, sits, or walks for extended periods. Moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects up to 50 lb without assistance. Handles objects of varying size and weight with fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination. Works in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and navigates stairs or service ramps. Performs additional duties as requested by supervisors
