Mechanical QC Inspector (MRI)

Job description

Performs quality activities according to the Quality Management System. Develops inspection and test plans and record templates based on project requirements and international standards. Conducts mechanical discipline inspections to verify work compliance with quality requirements and records results. Manages inspection requests (RFI) and prepares quality procedure documents such as Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and Material Approval Request (MAR). Reviews and approves inspection reports and uses an inspection matrix for status control. Handles Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) ensuring timely closure and prepares corrective action plans. Coordinates inspections with the client and acts as QA supervisor in their absence. Monitors quality breaches through regular communication with the construction team and reviews material submissions for mechanical scope before preparatory meetings. Conducts preparatory meetings with subcontractors and inspects incoming material deliveries
