Quality Inspector - Pipes

Job description

The role of the quality inspector for pipes includes implementing quality activities in accordance with the quality management system. Preparing inspection and testing plans and record forms according to project requirements and international standards. Conduct checks to determine compliance of work with quality requirements and record results. Control the scan status using tools such as the scan matrix. Managing pipe specialty inspection and issuing inspection requests to the customer when needed. Prepare and review quality procedures documents submitted by subcontractors such as inspection and testing plan and materials approval request. Preparing, reviewing and approving relevant inspection reports. Follow up and close non-conformance observations within deadlines and support the preparation of the corrective action plan. Coordinating the examination with the client and assuming the responsibilities of the supervisor in his absence. Review and track material requests prior to preparation meetings and conduct preparation meetings with subcontractors. Inspect incoming material deliveries and ensure they comply with specifications
