Medical Device Technician

Job description

Following up on the installation and operating procedures of medical devices, following up on remedial maintenance procedures and implementing preventive maintenance programs according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Typical duties of this profession: • Follow medical devices installation diagrams such as: dialysis device, VADs, RADs, medical imaging devices, medical ultrasound machines, etc.; determine installation locations thereof, follow-up installation procedures, and prepare required spare parts list. • Follow-up medical devices’ experimental operation procedures, and operation procedures according to operation manuals; train medical devices users on proper operation and control procedures. • Follow medical devices electronic circuit diagrams, diagnose failures thereof by using testing and measuring devices, and implement repair and control procedures. • Implement preventive maintenance programs of medical devices according to manufacturer’s instructions. • Prepare, submit, document and archive work’s reports

• Qualification: Diploma in Electronics and Automation
