QA/QC Rotating Engineer

Job description

The role involves supervising and following up mechanical rotating works, planning and controlling inspections of all related activities. Monitoring final inspection of completed mechanical rotating works before handover to the client. Reviewing shop and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents. Reviewing material submittals, specifications and calculations for contract compliance. Implementing the SATORP Mechanical Quality Assurance Plan. Reviewing as‑built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals and warranties. Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and encouraging reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Complying with all SHE procedures before and during work.

Requirements

• Experience in testing & commissioning of mechanical rotating works
• Bachelor degree holder in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years experience in oil & gas maintenance
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Strategic management skills
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance
