QA/QC Electrical Engineer

Job description

The engineer performs and supervises electrical work progress, installation and commissioning of various units. Plans and controls inspection of all electrical works and related activities. Monitors final inspection of completed electrical works before handover to the client. Reviews electrical shop and vendor drawings for contract compliance. Reviews electrical material submittals for contract compliance. Reviews electrical specifications and calculations for contract conformance. Implements the Electrical Quality Assurance Plan. Reviews as‑built drawings of mechanical works, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty. Ensures compliance with all safety procedures. Encourages reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Complies with all SHE procedures prior to and during work.

Requirements

• Experience in testing & commissioning of electrical works
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Strategic management skills
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance
