Senior Launch Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Launch Engineer to support vehicle launch, production ramp‑up and ongoing manufacturing operations. The role serves as the primary link between Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers and Program Management to ensure interior and exterior systems are delivered with high quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading launch and production support for interior and exterior systems, supporting prototype, pilot and SOP builds, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions, collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Quality, Program Management and Design Engineering, tracking and closing launch issues while mitigating risks, driving process improvements focused on quality, cost and delivery, and acting as the on‑site engineering representative during critical launch activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field
• 5+ years automotive engineering experience in interiors, exteriors, vehicle integration, manufacturing, quality or launch engineering
• Strong understanding of automotive products, manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with structured problem‑solving methods such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional reports and technical data
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills
• Experience supporting vehicle launches, pilot builds or manufacturing ramp‑ups
• Experience developing and launching interior or exterior systems from concept to launch
• Technical expertise in automotive interior and/or exterior systems
• Experience working directly with suppliers, manufacturing plants and cross‑functional engineering teams
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and automotive quality systems.
