Fire Protection Engineer

Job description

The role aims to deliver consultancy services to the employer clients and execute projects including fire protection design, reviews, inspections, and participation in FLS strategy tasks as required. Responsibilities include delivering projects to high standards on time, maintaining quality of all deliverables, acting as the main contact for project delivery, fire protection design and drawing review for authority approvals, writing fire protection reports, producing accurate submissions by agreed deadlines, preparing final fire protection and FLS strategy reports, leading development of fire protection and FLS design deliverables, acting as PM for FLS and multidisciplinary projects per the employer standards, meeting timelines for designs, reports, client meetings and workshops, ensuring traceability and version control of technical documents, contributing to successful project delivery, pursuing professional development through training, engaging in IMS implementation and maintenance, and conducting all FLS activities safely while reporting any risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• minimum 6 years of experience in fire protection engineering
• Professional Engineer qualification (CFPS, FE, NFPA or equivalent)
