About the Role Al-Mardouf Contracting Company is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its team in Yanbu, Medina. The civil engineer is responsible for studying construction sites, preparing designs and plans, and supervising the implementation of projects to ensure their compliance with technical specifications and standards. This role is full time and requires 5 to 10 years of experience. Main tasks and responsibilities: Study the topography and geology of the construction site and soil investigation test results. Study the requirements and architectural plans for the project. Determine the foundation depths necessary for the project and conduct an integrated structural analysis of its elements. Preparing project designs and following up on the preparation and auditing of construction plans, in addition to auditing tables of quantities and specifications. Supervising project implementation and conforming to technical specifications. Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with technical developments in the engineering field. Preparing documents and reports specialized in engineering works and projects, clarifying their progress and storing them in the approved database. Incident Management Responsibilities Oversee incident response operations within the scope of the project. Evaluating accidents, analyzing their causes, and preparing the necessary technical reports. Coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure speedy handling of accidents and restoring traffic movement. Monitoring the readiness of incident support teams and equipment and ensuring their efficiency. Monitor the performance of response teams and ensure adherence to approved procedures. Investigate incidents, extract lessons learned, and recommend corrective actions. Preparing statistics and performance indicators for incidents and response to them. Ensure the application of occupational safety and health requirements While dealing with accidents. Participate in preparing and updating emergency and incident response plans. Providing technical support and training to work teams on accident handling mechanisms. Coordination with operation and maintenance departments and relevant security and service agencies. Preparing periodic reports and submitting recommendations to improve response efficiency and reduce the recurrence of incidents. Qualifications and Experience Practical experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in the field of civil engineering. Strong knowledge of construction site studies and soil analysis. Proficiency in preparing construction designs, plans, and tables of quantities. Ability to supervise project implementation and ensure compliance with specifications. Excellent skills in preparing technical reports and specialized documents. Work Environment: The civil engineer works in this role full-time in the city of Yanbu, in the Medina region.
