Demand Planning Manager

Job description

Key role in developing and maintaining accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and inputs from commercial teams. Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models, tools, and methodologies. Analyze demand variations and provide clear insights on trends, risks, and opportunities. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and ensure forecasts reflect market realities. Lead monthly Demand Review meetings as part of the S&OP process. Align demand plans with inventory, production, and procurement strategies to meet customer service levels without overstocking or understocking. Partner with supply planners and procurement to adjust plans based on demand shifts or supply constraints. Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend mitigation actions. Create and maintain regular reporting dashboards to track forecast accuracy, inventory health, and demand trends. Conduct scenario analysis and support business decision-making with actionable insights. Manage demand planning software and ERP systems to improve visibility and control
