Store Keeper

Job description

The Store Keeper receives and inspects deliveries against purchase orders and invoices. Properly stores food, beverages, packaging materials, and other supplies. Maintains accurate inventory records and stock levels. Monitors stock movement, expiry dates, and product quality. Conducts regular stock counts and reports discrepancies. Issues items to restaurant departments based on approved requests. Follows FIFO/FEFO procedures and ensures proper storage conditions. Coordinates with purchasing, kitchen, and restaurant teams. Keeps the storeroom clean, organized, and safe. Prepares inventory and stock reports as required.

Requirements

• Proficient in receiving and inspecting deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
• proficient in storing food, beverages, packaging materials and other supplies
• knowledgeable of accurate inventory records and stock levels
• experienced in monitoring stock movement, expiry dates and product quality
• capable of conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
• proficient in issuing items to restaurant departments based on approved requests
• proficient in FIFO/FEFO procedures and ensuring proper storage conditions
• capable of coordinating with purchasing, kitchen and restaurant teams
• proficient in maintaining a clean, organized and safe storeroom
• proficient in preparing inventory and stock reports as required
