QA Engineer

Job description

Join the employer as a QA Engineer on a major landmark development project in Riyadh. Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System in line with the employer and client requirements. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved quality standards, specifications, and procedures. Conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance; review and approve Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and method statements. Identify, document, and track Non-Conformances and corrective/preventive actions. Analyze quality performance trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare quality reports, audit findings, and performance metrics. Support testing, commissioning, handover, and closeout activities. Provide quality training, guidance, and technical support to project teams. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders on quality matters. Ensure compliance with the employer standards, client requirements, and industry codes. Mentor junior quality personnel and perform other quality assurance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related discipline
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), CMQ/OE, or equivalent certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Membership in a recognized Quality organization (preferred)
