Senior Product Manager - GCC Expansion

Job description

Over 100,000 merchants use the employer, and the next phase is expanding across the GCC and beyond. Each market has unique payment rails, regulatory requirements, logistics realities, and merchant expectations, requiring deliberate product adaptation. Own the expansion roadmap, diagnose merchant drop‑off between signup and first order, and ship product improvements. Drive impact across three domains: activation in new markets, market‑specific product fit, and expansion infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning product for market expansion or geographic rollout at a software, fintech, or commerce platform
• Deep understanding of merchant activation dynamics and diagnosing drop‑off
• Payments and know‑your‑customer fluency as a product problem, including gateway integrations and document flows
• Familiarity with Gulf market realities such as payment methods, logistics, VAT, and commercial licensing
• Track record improving time‑to‑value in a self‑serve, low‑touch environment
• Strong analytical instinct for building measurement where benchmarks do not exist
• Experience leading cross‑functional work without authority
• Five or more years in product management with meaningful ownership in ambiguous or early‑stage contexts
• Arabic fluency is mandatory
• Gulf residency or prior regional experience preferred
• Willingness to relocate to Mecca.
