Job description
The role involves serving as the technical authority for all electrical engineering aspects of the projects, providing specialist expertise during design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical infrastructure systems associated with bridges, highways, interchanges, and transportation corridors. Responsibilities include technical leadership and engineering guidance, review of electrical engineering deliverables, provision of solutions to complex technical challenges, and ensuring project electrical systems achieve operational, safety, sustainability, and maintainability objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering preferred
- Chartered Engineer (CEng), Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent professional accreditation highly desirable
- membership of recognized professional institutions such as IEEE, IET, or equivalent preferred
- minimum 15 years of electrical engineering experience in major infrastructure projects
- minimum 10 years of experience supporting bridge, highway, transportation, or urban infrastructure developments
- significant experience in electrical systems associated with transportation infrastructure
- previous experience on projects exceeding USD 250 million preferred
- GCC and Saudi Arabia project experience highly desirable
- experience with international consultants, PMCs, government clients, or major contractors preferred.
