Project/Site Engineer

Job description

The role involves leading and managing all on‑site MEP installation activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and ELV systems. Coordinate MEP work with civil, structural and architectural teams to ensure smooth interfaces. Review and align shop drawings and technical submissions with Saudi Building Code and authority requirements. Supervise subcontractors and site labor, ensuring quality, safety and productivity. Handle inspections and approvals with Saudi Civil Defense and other local authorities. Support procurement, monitor delivery and storage of materials, and ensure compliance with specifications. Track installation progress, conduct testing and commissioning, and prepare as‑built documents and O&M manuals. Resolve technical issues, propose constructability improvements and manage interface risks across multiple packages.

Requirements

• proficient in on‑site MEP management and coordination
• proficient in coordinating MEP works with civil, structural and architectural teams
• knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi Civil Defense, SEC, NWC and MODON requirements
• experience with reviewing shop drawings and technical submittals
• proficient in supervising subcontractors and ensuring quality and HSE compliance
• knowledge of authority inspection and approval processes
• experience with procurement support and material control
• proficient in monitoring installation progress and preparing testing and commissioning reports
• proficient in issue resolution and value engineering
• proficient in managing interface risks and cross‑trade coordination.
