Mechanical Planner

Job description

The Mechanical Planner at the employer Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) leads the contractor’s maintenance planning section by providing technical information and solutions. Prepares long‑term maintenance plans and utilizes efficient maintenance systems such as CMMS. Monitors system data for management review and proposes resource optimisation solutions. Contributes inputs for preparing the maintenance budget of all plants, reviews actual versus budgeted maintenance expenditure and recommends actions to minimise deviations. Prepares monthly reports highlighting work plans, major completed activities and attends regular maintenance department meetings. Monitors maintenance planning KPIs against targets, reviews and presents manpower planning, and follows up with operations, services and company maintenance departments on planning‑related issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Bachelor Degree
• Supervision and leadership skills in Oil & Gas maintenance planning
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Strategic thinking, open to new ideas
• Ability to achieve business results working in a multicultural environment
