Job description
Under general supervision, the Principal Designer – Pipeline independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes engineering decisions, and represents the organization at conferences to resolve key issues or negotiate with senior engineers and officials of other entities. Provides technical guidance to designers and less‑experienced engineers and is extensively consulted by colleagues based on scientific interpretations and advice. The role includes responsibility for measurable assets such as assigned staff and budget.
Requirements
- Proficient with an undergraduate degree in Engineering
- experience with at least 7 years of related experience
- knowledge of advanced engineering techniques
- proficiency in making engineering decisions and problem solving
- proficiency in representing the organization at conferences and negotiations
- proficiency in providing technical guidance to teams
- proficiency in working under general supervision
- average experience of 10+ years in the field
