Job description
This role requires leading a large team and having strong technical experience in pipeline calculations, such as road crossing, upheaval buckling, buoyancy, combined stresses, elastic bends, etc. It also requires a strong philosophy in pipeline scraping. You should have a strong background in pipelines, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. You will support construction queries with practical and compliant solutions. Local Saudi Arabia experience is a plus. Responsibilities include leading a large team, providing technical support, solving problems, and working in accordance with international standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Onshore Pipeline design (Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Design)
- extensive experience in pipeline route selection and optimization studies
- experience in scraping philosophy
- strong background with International Standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, MSS SP, ISO, NACE, DNV
- ability to multi-task and work with agreed project milestones
- strong communication skills
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or relevant field
- experience in Civil 3D and 3D model projects
