Lifting Engineer

Job overview: A Lifting Engineer at the employer Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) which provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. Responsibilities: · Develop detailed lifting plans for cranes, hoists, winches, or specialized lifting gear · Choose suitable lifting equipment based on load, geometry, and environment · Coordinate and manage contractors’ heavy equipment · Oversee rigging crews during complex or critical lifts · Lead toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings · Ensure personnel have the skills, training, and resources to conduct routine maintenance activities safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma · Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Degree · Must have 3rd party certified lifting and rigging qualification · Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities · Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills · Proven leadership skills with large organizations · Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems · Strategic management skills · An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment · Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA
