Lead Estimator

Job description

The Lead Estimator role involves leading the preparation of classified estimates during project development stages and managing estimate plans. Preparing and reviewing cost estimate bases such as productivity factors, all‑in rates, material and construction. Coordinating with project teams to gather all requirements for the TIC estimate. Reviewing, validating and presenting cost estimate reports to management and clients. Providing guidance and mentoring to estimators and ensuring best estimating practices. Proficient with MS Office packages, especially Word and Excel.

Requirements

• 10 to 20 years' experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction of major oil and gas/pipeline projects
• proficiency in WBS process for developing estimate cost breakdown structure
• preparing and reviewing cost estimate basis
• coordinating with project teams to develop TIC estimate requirements
• reviewing and presenting cost estimate reports
• knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage)
• familiarity with SAEP-25
• providing guidance and mentoring to estimators and ensuring best practices
• computer literate with MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• any nationality (prefer Saudi nationality).
